This can be utilized for adults or children age 2 and older.
Building a strong nutritional base is key to eating a healthy diet and making positive choices. Our relationship with food is multidimensional and begins at a young age. Through a functional nutrition approach we can begin to build a strong foundation for ourselves & kids on the idea that food is medicine, information, connection and energy (MICE).
During the functional nutrition evaluation 4 areas will be evaluated: Anthropometrics (weight, height, BMI) and Body Composition, Biomarker from laboratory findings, Clinical indicators from the physical exam, and Diet, nutrition and lifestyle. (ABCDs)
This will give Dr Kerri a comprehensive view of you or your child’s nutritional and health status to allow for the best personalized health plan.
